Take a pan add oil add cumin seeds, black pepper, clove, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, green cardamom, star anise and stir then add onion, stir fry a little till golden brown then add chicken pieces stir to cook and add ginger garlic paste, 3 green chillies, stir well add curd stir cook well and turn off the flame.
  2. Take a pan add water, add fennel, coriander seeds and cook well for 10 to 15 minutes and drain the water then add chicken, cook well and add rice.
  3. Cook well and sprinkle coriander leaves, chillies and brown onion, rose water and kesar colour, cover with the lid and cook in low flame 10 minutes and ready to serve with boondi raita.
